About eVotersUnited
eGutenbergPress, PBC and eVotersUnited
eGutenbergPress, PBC is a Delaware Public Benefit Corporation created to develop technologies that support democratic institutions and civic participation.
eVotersUnited.org is an assumed business name and web domain of eGutenbergPress, created to host a secure political vertical connecting registered voters with the elected officials representing their precincts.
What is the purpose of eVotersUnited.org?
The purpose of the eVotersUnited application is to simplify and amplify voter communication with elected officials through a secure, non-partisan network.
The application enables private, confidential voter communications from registered voters and provides verified assurance to elected officials that each message originates from an eligible voter within their jurisdiction.
eVotersUnited provides “just the pipes” — neutral infrastructure that connects voters and officials without advocacy, bias, or editorial influence.
How does it work?
eVotersUnited.org is a web-based application available to all registered U.S. voters.
Users enter their name and residential address. The application verifies voter registration and precinct information. Once verified, the system automatically configures a personalized network of elected officials associated with that voter’s precinct, including federal, state, municipal, judicial, law enforcement, and school board office holders.
Users can then engage in secure, confidential two-way communication with their elected officials. Messages are delivered only to officials representing the voter’s precinct, and no messages can be sent until verification is complete.
The application does not add advocacy or allow fundraising content of any kind.
Pricing
Free
Communications with U.S. Senators, Members of the House of Representatives, and all federal legislation and ballot measures are offered at no charge. Advocacy organizations may use the application for free after completing an application.
Premium
Communications with state and local elected officials require an annual membership of $24.00/YR , with a quarterly billing option of $6.00 per quarter, payable by credit card.
Public Benefits
Free voter access to communicate with Members of the Senate and House of Representatives through existing congressional portals, including Communication with Congress (CWC) and the Senate Communication with Congress (SCWC). These portals are generally linked directly to Members’ contact management systems, bypassing web forms on Members ‘web sites simplifying tabulation and response workflows.
Free access for voter advocacy organizations, politically active web influencers, and registered lobbying organizations that can create, distribute, and monitor advocacy campaigns. Campaigns may include issue polling and specific legislation or race preferences and can be formatted for distribution to their own members or via social media. All responses are collected through a confidential channel with aggregated campaign metrics including demographic summaries based on individual campaign participation.
Free access for elected officials’ offices to conduct voter polling, legislative surveys, and issue preference outreach within their own precincts. Offices holders may respond directly to voter transmittals. Fundraising or financial solicitation is not permitted in the application.
Just as the Gutenberg printing press expanded transparency and participation in the fifteenth century, eGutenbergPress seeks to use modern technology to expand civic connectivity and transparency for today’s voters.
